The Theatre Learning team is an innovative new team with over 30 years theatre experience. The team is led by Joe McNulty (FCIPD), a charismatic and engaging facilitator/deliverer of learning and development. Joe is an extremely experienced Director and Actor.
Theatre Learning has a track record of working with people and organisations to help support their ongoing projects. Theatre is a natural tool for raising awareness in a non-threatening fashion.
Theatre Learning engages and motivates audiences to learn. Our training helps the participants to understand the impact and benefits of effective behaviour. We also look at the dangers of inappropriate behaviour, creating an awareness of how and when it needs to be challenged. We can also highlight the improvement in morale, which results from eradicating such behaviour.
We allow participants to see the effects of a failure to challenge inappropriate behaviour and we encourage them to explore the courage needed to make those challenges. At this stage, short-term difficulties are often identified. However, discussion is steered towards recognition of the longer-term benefits for individuals, the workplace and the wider community.
Using the 'safety' of interactive theatre, delegates can practice giving support and can see those results in action.
We examine the short and long term benefits that flow from cultural improvements within an organisation. These benefits apply equally to individuals and the teams in which they work.
