The Theatre Learning team is an innovative new team with over 30 years theatre experience. The team is led by Joe McNulty (FCIPD) a charismatic and engaging facilitator/deliverer of learning and development, who is also a very experienced Director and actor.
Theatre learning has a track record of working with people and organisations to help support their ongoing projects. Theatre is a natural tool for raising awareness in a non-threatening fashion.
Theatre Learning engages and motivates audiences to learn. We help participants through training them to understand the impact and benefits of effective behaviour. We also look at the dangers of inappropriate behaviour and how and when it needs to be challenged. We can also highlight the improvements in morale which result from eradicating such behaviour.
We allow participants to see the effects of failure to challenge inappropriate behaviour and explore the courage needed to make those challenges. They will also see some of the likely short- term difficulties of such challenges, but also the longer term benefits for individuals, their workplace and the wider community. Using the 'safety' of interactive theatre, delegates can practice giving such support and can also see the results in action.
We examine the short and long term benefits that flow from improvements within the culture of an organisation, both to individuals and the team in which they work.
